Marjack continues to invest heavily in technology to ensure hassle-free ordering, smooth fulfillment and streamlined receiving. All of which decreases errors and in turn, costs. We’ve made a significant investment not only in equipment but in the most important IT asset - people. With a staff of experts in EDI, procurement, networking and programming, there are almost no customer requests we can’t work to accommodate. We offer ordering through fax, EDI and on-line through Reactornet. EDI is also utilized for invoicing and producing ASN’s and UCC-128 labels. We have multiple, dedicated servers for our ERP, EDI, security, email and web services. On-site back-up (generator and battery) ensures that we are never down. We also have a disaster plan in place with off-site backup in case of catastrophic damage at our headquarters. T-1 connections at all distribution centers provide a live feed from our headquarters. That means that the distribution center that will ultimately fill your order knows about it as soon as it is received. Our open source ERP allows us to customize our systems to fit our customer’s needs, rather than our customers having to conform to our system. We have a full-time IT staff on site to facilitate these changes and to maintain our systems. Our computer integrated Non-Basic tracking system allows us to monitor a project from moment of conception to delivery. Flags in the system send automated email reminders of pertinent dates and tasks that need to be accomplished to ensure successful completion of each project. This, along with our newly implemented GEN2 purchasing system, which utilizes predictive purchasing based on customers’ buying patterns, ensures the industry’s best fill rates. Computerized warehouse management systems utilized at our distribution centers ensure order fulfillment accuracy, complete ASN reporting by carton and error-free invoicing. Bar-coded carton contents streamline the receiving process.
